Meet our amazing team at Musical Depot!
Scott and Jodeen Gilreath started Musical Depot in 2005. We had a dream to find a way to bring more music to people and make playing instruments affordable to young and old. Jodeen's strengths are managing the store and the administrative side of the business. Scott's strengths lie in his product knowledge, repair and technical abilities. Scott also has been a musician for 30 years.
Victoria Gilreath has been working as customer service since 2010 at Musical Depot. Victoria handles the administrative duties for the independent contractors that teach sytudents and arranges scheduling for them. Victoria handles many of the administrative duties for the counter. Her customer service is very friendly and helpful to our customers.
Randy Oswalt has been offering his services as a drum and percussion instructor since 2013 at Musical Depot. Randy is an Instrumental Music Instructor at Maranatha Christian School and Florence District 1. Randy can be seen playing many places throughout the Florence area. Randy is such a great talent and enjoys teaching very much.
Katelyn Miller has been playing the violin for many years and is first chair violinist with her orchestra. She has offered her services as a violin instructor with Musical Depot since 2016. Katelyn is currently very involoved in the arts.She is in all honors classes involved in many acadamic extracurricular activities as well.  Katelyn is a classically trained violinist. She is very patient and loves teaching.
Jeff Springs is a beginner to advanced guitar instructor. Jeff also teaches beginner dobro, and intermediate to advanced banjo and mandolin. Jeff has been offering his services with Musical Depot since 2009 offering guitar instruction in metal, rock, bluegrass and more. Jeff is an amazing musician and can be found all over Florence playing music. A real asset to the team with his vast knowledge and natural talent.
Travis Pattillo has been offering his services as a beginner to intermediate guitar instructor with Musical Depot since 2012, offering guitar instruction in shred, metal, rock, bluegrass, country, and more. Travis has been playing guitar for several years. He also plays banjo, bass, mandolin. and drums. Travis loves all genres of music and is so excited to help students with their interest in music.
Matthew Alexander has been offering his services as a piano teacher with Musical Depot since 2012. Matthew graduated as a music major at FMU. He is majored in music industry with a consentration in classical piano and trombone. Matthew is also the Minister of Music for his church in Florence. His specialty is classical piano with some gospel training. Matthew has a deep passion for music and he brings that excitement of music to our students.
Tyler Bodkins is an acomplished drummer and is well versed in many genres of music. Tyler has been offering his services with Musical Depot since 2013 as percussion instructor. Tyler has high energy for his students and enjoys teaching very much. He is in a successful band from Florence callled I Anthem as well as drummer with New Springs Church.  Percussion and keyboard are Tyler's passion.
Instructors

Instructors are not just great musicians but great instructors as well. A very rare combination!
All of the instructors are patient and always willing to help their students. One of the main objective, beside the student learning their instrument is to have a positive and motivating lesson with their instructor.
Dependable and prepared for their students lessons. They are all current in their music, important for the student to be able to relate to the instructor.
All instructors that are offering their services through Musical Depot, have given us schedules that accomodate their students busy lifestyle.
Caleb Oswalt has been offering his services with Musical Depot as a beginner to intermediate guitar and beginner bass instructor. Caleb is at Francis Marion with Music Industries being his major study. He has grown up around music his whole life, in church and performing outside church and in local coffee shops and open mics.  Caleb is knowledgeable in many genres such as classical, pop, rock, gospel, and more.
Caleb enjoys teaching and has the right fit for our students.

Tyler Bodkins  joined our team as a music specialist in 2013. Tyler is a musician and is very knowledgeable about instruments and accessories. His expertise is percussion and is a huge passion for him. Tyler is a great asset to our customers with his great customer service skills and is a good fit for the Musical Depot team.
Alex Gilreath, has been Musical Depot's repair technician since 2012. Alex's work is meticulous and he takes pride in the final product. He does set ups, nuts, saddles, restrings, electrical work, and more.
Michael Free has been offering his services as a piano teacher with Musical Depot since 2015. Michael is finishing up his degree at FMU as a music major. Michael has played piano, guitar, and bass for several years. Classical guitar and classical music is his biggest passion. He can play other genres of music such as jazz, blues, rock, and pop.
Travis Pattillo   joined our team as a music specialist in 2017. Travis has been playing guitar for several years. He also plays banjo, bass, mandolin. and drums. Travis loves all genres of music along with his work ethic and customer service a great addition to the team.
